About Us

Dark New Empire [DNE] started operating in Jedi Academy about seven years ago and has now expanded to several other games that can be seen on the main site. DNE was formed by Argon and two other founding members in 2004. One of the founding members was kicked out shortly after the clan was formed and the other one started an uprising inside the clan and was forced to be destroyed. After this Argon could proclaim his position as His Imperial Highness Reigning Emperor. After that we have found out that dictatorship is a quite effective form of government since we have survived for over seven years.

Despite our name Dark New Empire has very high moral standards and our three main principles are morality, loyality and sophistication. We highly respect moral values, people who can do the right thing. We want our members to be loyal to our cause and to our Empire and it can be seen in our ranking system where we promote the members we find loyal after years of monitoring them while other clans usually promote the best players. We also want our members to be sophisticated, meaning we want them to behave like intelligent beings and not to provoke. By sophistication we also encourage people to learn since knowledge truly is power.

Even though most of our members in high positions are from Finland we are definitely not a Finnish clan, not even a European one but worldwide. We take members from all countries and there won't be any kind of discrimination. You can be from wherever you want, as long as you can speak English. Otherwise there might be troubles with communicating, a rather lot probably. Server pings might, of course, be a little friendlier for Europeans but we hope to get a server for broader areas too.

Our gaming style is a rather communal type of gaming, rather than having all kinds of clan matches with other clans. We just like to hang around and share our thoughts while playing. So Dark New Empire is also a kind of community, even an ideology if you will.
